DevOps Engineer Backend

About this role

Air Apps, a self-funded AI startup with 100M+ downloads, seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications. You'll optimize systems for reliability and cost-effectiveness while collaborating with development teams in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve reliability
• Establish security best practices and optimize cloud resource costs

• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless computing
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Linux systems, networking, and security
• Bash, Python, or Go scripting
• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
• Cloud cost optimization and high-availability architectures
