DevOps Engineer Backend

About this role

Air Apps seeks a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain backend infrastructure supporting their AI-powered planning platform. You'll design CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud environments, and enable rapid, reliable deployments across a fast-growing organization based in Lisbon.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor system performance and improve infrastructure reliability and security
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment efficiency and troubleshoot issues

• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless computing
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

• Linux systems, networking, and security practices
• Scripting (Bash, Python, Go)
• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
