DevOps Engineer Backend

About this role

Air Apps seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain backend infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage cloud environments. You'll work onsite in Lisbon with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective systems powering an AI-driven platform used by millions globally.

What you'll do

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Monitor system performance, optimize reliability, and improve deployment efficiency
• Establish security best practices including identity management, logging, and vulnerability management
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness

• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless computing
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

• Linux systems, networking, and security best practices
