QA Automation Engineer

About this role

Air Apps seeks a QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications, ensuring high quality standards across their AI-powered resource planning platform. You'll integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly impact application stability and performance.

What you'll do

• Design and develop automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications
• Create and execute regression, functional, performance, and API tests
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Collaborate with developers to ensure feature testability and early defect detection
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report issues
• Enhance test coverage by identifying critical scenarios and edge cases

• Test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright)
• Programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
• API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Git version control and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
• Software testing principles and SDLC knowledge
• Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) - preferred
• Mobile application testing (iOS & Android) - preferred
