React Engineer

About this role

Air Apps, a self-funded AI-driven company with 100+ million downloads, is seeking a React Engineer to build responsive and accessible web interfaces in their Lisbon office. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable front-end experiences for their AI-powered resource planning platform.

What you'll do

• Implement high-quality, responsive user interfaces following design specifications across multiple browsers and devices
• Develop and maintain code using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) with HTML5 and CSS3
• Optimize page load times, rendering performance, and overall user experience
• Integrate with backend systems using RESTful/GraphQL APIs
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards) and search engine optimization best practices
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews
