Security Engineer

About this role

Air Apps, a self-funded AI-powered resource planning company, is seeking a Security Engineer to protect their applications and infrastructure. You'll implement secure development practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain resilient systems against evolving cyber threats.

What you'll do

• Develop threat modeling and conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security assessments
• Define secure coding practices and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps teams
• Monitor security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures
• Ensure compliance with security standards including ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2
• Design and implement IAM policies, encryption standards, and authentication mechanisms
• Review security of features, APIs, and third-party integrations with product teams
