Security Engineer

About this role

Air Apps, a fast-growing AI-powered planning platform with 100+ million downloads, seeks a Security Engineer to protect applications and infrastructure from cyber threats. You'll implement secure development practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and build security frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams in our Lisbon office.

What you'll do

• Develop threat modeling and vulnerability assessments to identify security risks
• Conduct penetration testing and security audits across applications and infrastructure
• Establish secure coding standards and enforce OWASP best practices with development teams
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automate security testing
• Monitor security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures
• Design IAM policies, encryption standards, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2
