Security Engineer

About this role

Air Apps seeks a Security Engineer to protect its AI-powered planning platform by implementing secure coding practices, vulnerability assessments, and threat mitigation strategies. This onsite Lisbon role involves collaborating with development and DevOps teams to establish a comprehensive security framework across applications and infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Develop threat models and conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security assessments
• Define secure coding practices and enforce them across development teams
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automate security testing with DevOps
• Monitor security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures
• Design and implement IAM policies, encryption standards, and authentication mechanisms
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2

• Cybersecurity and application security (4+ years)
