Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About this role

Air Apps seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure system reliability, scalability, and availability across cloud environments. You'll design fault-tolerant infrastructure, implement monitoring and automation solutions, and collaborate with development teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable, reliable systems across cloud environments
• Develop observability tools including monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures for system failures
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and manage on-call incident response rotations
• Design load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery strategies

What they're looking for

• 4+ years SRE, DevOps, or System Engineering experience
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
• Linux system administration and networking
• Scripting (Bash, Python, or Go)
• Incident management and debugging
