About this role

Airbnb seeks an ML Engineer to build cutting-edge agentic AI systems for customer service, including chat and voice assistants. You'll develop production-grade LLM applications using advanced techniques like fine-tuning, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration to transform Airbnb's support experience.

What you'll do

  • Develop novel ML systems and AI solutions for Airbnb customer service products
  • Build and optimize agentic AI systems including multi-agent orchestration and autonomous reasoning pipelines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams
  • Champion production ML/AI deployments at scale with focus on infrastructure and MLOps
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML technologies
  • Build LLM evaluation frameworks and handle model fine-tuning and testing automation
