About this role
Join Airbnb's BizTech Global Operations team as an Operations Engineer to lead AI-driven automation of corporate infrastructure and incident response. You'll combine observability expertise, automation scripting, and LLM-powered tools to reduce ticket backlogs, accelerate MTTR, and build self-healing systems that proactively catch and resolve production issues.
What you'll do
- Manage ticket queue by prioritizing requests, resolving issues, and identifying patterns for automation or deflection
- Participate in rotating on-call and incident response including weekends, troubleshooting and documenting issues in real time
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards using Tableau, Superset, or Grafana to track service health, availability, and data quality
- Leverage AI-assisted tools for triage, root-cause analysis, scripting, and documentation while applying judgment on complex problems
- Write and maintain automation code in Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Bash for operational workflows
- Partner with global stakeholder teams to drive issues to resolution and improve operational efficiency
