Software Engineer, Web Platform

About this role

Join Airbnb's Web Platform team to build developer infrastructure and tools that empower engineers across a TypeScript monorepo. You'll enhance developer experience through AI-powered tooling, testing frameworks, build systems, and observability libraries while collaborating with product and infrastructure teams.

What you'll do

• Develop foundational libraries, frameworks, and tools to improve developer velocity and experience
• Work on testing frameworks, build systems, CI pipelines, and editor integrations
• Partner with product teams to understand pain points and pilot solutions
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on cross-functional initiatives
• Participate in full software development lifecycle including architecture, implementation, testing, and on-call support
• Support code quality and knowledge sharing across teams
