Software Engineer, Infrastructure (8+ YOE)

About this role

Airtable seeks experienced infrastructure engineers to build and scale foundational systems supporting their no-code platform used by 500,000+ organizations. Join one of three specialized teams—Compute, Developer Platform, or Traffic—to design robust, developer-friendly infrastructure that powers AI services and handles massive growth.

What you'll do

• Lead infrastructure improvements across Kubernetes-based compute platforms and AI service deployments
• Own reliability, performance, and observability of production infrastructure systems
• Design and implement clean abstractions for internal tooling, CI/CD, and developer workflows
• Build systems for network management, service discovery, disaster recovery, and traffic engineering
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex distributed systems and scalability challenges
• Develop custom operators and platforms for managing critical, large-scale workloads
