How you'll make impact

As an IT Engineer, you'll own the collaboration platforms that help Airwallex work together and connect with customers every day. You'll combine hands-on technical execution with platform ownership to build secure, scalable solutions across our global environment.

• Own and evolve Airwallex's collaboration platform stack, including Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and the surfaces employees use to connect with customers and work together every day.

• Build and operate integrations and workflows across enterprise SaaS applications using code, clickops, command-line tools, terminals, and other technical approaches.

• Lead Google Workspace operations across a complex global environment, bringing Google products together with Identity Engineering to create a cohesive and reliable employee experience.

• Partner with INFOSEC, Revenue Operations, and IT teams around the world to solve hard problems and build secure solutions across the many regions where Airwallex operates.

• Drive the onboarding and enablement of AI products and features across the collaboration stack, experimenting, trialling, and turning useful capabilities into faster ways of working.

You'll work from our San Francisco office three days a week.

What we're looking for

Essentials

• Experience owning and operating collaboration platforms, including Slack and Google Workspace.

• Hands-on experience building and managing integrations and workflows across enterprise SaaS applications.

• Technical fluency with code, command-line tools, terminals, and clickops.

• Experience managing Google Workspace operations at scale and partnering with identity or security teams.

• A track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems with curiosity, sound judgment, and persistence.

Preferred

• Experience with Zoom or other enterprise collaboration platforms.

• Experience working with Slack Enterprise Grid.

• Experience onboarding, evaluating, or enabling AI products in an enterprise environment.

• Experience partnering with INFOSEC, Revenue Operations, and globally distributed IT teams.

Enterprise Engineering builds the systems, tools, and infrastructure that keep Airwallex running at scale, spanning IT Support, IT Engineering, Corporate Networking, and Business Engineering. You'll own everything from collaboration tools and identity to the networks behind our global operations, touching every team from Engineering to Finance. The challenge is scale: keeping complex systems reliable without slowing anyone down.
