Network Engineer I

About this role

Akuna Capital, an options market-making trading firm, is hiring a Network Engineer I to support their IT Infrastructure team in Chicago. You'll configure and maintain network infrastructure while collaborating with trading and development teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

What you'll do

• Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure with trading, IT, and development teams
• Provide day-to-day support for network and application environments including ports and cabling
• Offer evening and weekend support and maintenance as needed
• Travel to data centers for infrastructure work
• Support low-latency trading systems and network operations
