Network Engineer III

Akuna Capital, an innovative options market-maker and trading firm, seeks a Network Engineer III to maintain and optimize critical low-latency trading infrastructure across global offices. This role requires strong networking expertise, independent decision-making, and readiness to support trading systems during extended hours in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Trading, IT Infrastructure, and Development teams to configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure
• Provide day-to-day support of network and application environments including port configuration and cabling
• Support evening and weekend maintenance with travel to data centers as required
• Evaluate current and new technologies to improve infrastructure capabilities
• Serve as sole network resource during core hours ensuring stability of critical trading systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in time-sensitive trading environment
