About this role
OpenEye seeks a Sales Engineer to serve the Inland Northwest region, bridging technical expertise and customer relationships for cloud-based video management solutions. You'll assess customer needs, design system configurations, deliver training, and provide on-site support while collaborating with sales and engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Deliver sales presentations and assess equipment needs to provide system recommendations
- Develop and conduct training courses for internal and external customers across formats
- Prepare cost estimates and site configurations using technical documentation and blueprints
- Support project installations remotely or on-site and troubleshoot technical issues
- Serve as voice of customer to product management and marketing teams
- Maintain CRM documentation and communicate post-visit summaries with action items
What they're looking for
- Technical support and engineering (5+ years)
- B2B customer support experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Networking knowledge and IP video technologies
- System design and cost estimation
- Presentation and training delivery
- CRM software experience (preferred)
- Network+ certification or equivalent (preferred)

- Base salary $90,000–$110,000 plus $10,000–$17,000 annual commission
