Founding Engineer

About this role

Alden is seeking a founding full-stack engineer to build AI-powered care coordination software that modernizes America's caregiving infrastructure. You'll own end-to-end development of core features including EHR integrations, intelligent workflows, and voice AI systems while working closely with leadership to shape the company's technical direction and culture.

What you'll do

• Own 0-to-1 projects including agentic workflow automation, AI voice infrastructure, and customer deployments with EHR integrations
• Design and build full-stack features spanning React/Next.js frontend and Express/PostgreSQL backend systems
• Establish engineering processes and best practices as part of the founding team
• Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and iterate on solutions
• Build internal tools and integrations with healthcare systems and communication platforms
• Collaborate with CEO and CTO to define company culture and technical strategy
