Corporate IT Engineer

About this role

Alembic, a Series B AI platform backed by $145M in funding, seeks a Corporate IT Engineer to build and own the company's complete IT infrastructure as it scales. You'll combine hands-on support with systems engineering to automate and evolve IT operations, ensuring employees and elite technical teams stay productive and secure.

What you'll do

• Manage the full employee IT lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, and access control
• Administer identity and device management platforms (SSO, MDM, directory services) with security-first principles
• Provide first-line internal IT support and convert recurring issues into self-service solutions and automation
• Partner with Engineering and Security teams to maintain reliable, compliant endpoints and networks
• Script and automate manual IT tasks like provisioning, reporting, and routine maintenance to scale with company growth

What they're looking for

• IT systems administration or IT engineering in a high-growth environment
• Identity and device management platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf, Intune, or similar)
• Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or equivalent languages)
• SaaS stack administration and configuration
• Security-conscious mindset with attention to least-privilege access
• Service orientation combined with engineering problem-solving
• Network and endpoint management
• Compliance and security best practices
