Mobile Engineer

About this role

Allara, a fast-growing women's health platform, is seeking a Mobile Engineer to design and ship native iOS and Android features for their patient app serving 60,000+ users. You'll own significant end-to-end features, work across both platforms, and help shape the patient care experience through thoughtful mobile design and architecture.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and ship features across native iOS and Android apps with a shared architecture
• Drive architectural decisions including state management, networking, and offline behavior patterns
• Partner with product, design, and backend teams to translate care goals into performant mobile experiences
• Champion code quality through reviews, testing, and performance profiling
• Integrate AI and LLM-powered features to improve patient engagement
• Own features end-to-end from scoping through launch and iteration based on user data

• Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose (deep expertise in at least one)
• Native iOS and Android development
• RESTful API integration and backend collaboration
