Systems Test Engineer

About this role

Allen Control Systems seeks a Systems Test Engineer to design and execute comprehensive system-level testing for autonomous weapon platforms. You'll own test planning, instrumentation, data analysis, and evidence documentation while collaborating across hardware and software teams to ensure systems are field-ready before deployment.

What you'll do

• Design and execute system-level test plans with defined data products, instrumentation, and post-test analysis workflows
• Manage test readiness, instrumentation setup, data capture, and quality checks to ensure usable results
• Build and refine test procedures, checklists, and post-test review processes for repeatability
• Support hardware-software integration, debugging, and fault isolation across system interfaces
• Translate raw test data into clear evidence packages that support requirement closure and engineering decisions
• Partner with systems, mechanical, electrical, and software teams to improve test observability and quality
