About this role

Allen Control Systems seeks a Technical Operations Engineer to serve as an on-site expert supporting autonomous defense systems at domestic and international events. You'll troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure mission-critical system reliability.

What you'll do

  • Provide on-site technical expertise for ACS robotic systems during CONUS and OCONUS operations
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software components independently
  • Manage networking infrastructure for both hardline and mesh network environments
  • Perform Linux-based administration including log analysis, CLI tasks, and configuration updates
  • Collaborate with engineering team to identify root causes and implement solutions
  • Support program managers and operators with technical guidance to maintain mission readiness
