Platform Engineer

About this role

Allen Control Systems seeks a Platform Engineer to design and manage infrastructure for autonomous counter-drone systems. You'll operate a 130+ GPU Kubernetes cluster, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliable deployment across lab and field environments.

What you'll do

• Deploy and operate bare-metal Kubernetes clusters with 130+ NVIDIA GPUs and AWS hybrid burst capability
• Manage NVIDIA GPU clusters for machine learning training workloads
• Own full CI/CD pipeline including build automation, artifact signing, and deployment to cloud and edge targets
• Build and maintain observability stack with logging, metrics, alerting, and dashboards
• Collaborate with computer vision, robotics, and software teams on developer tooling
• Ensure system reliability in both lab and field environments
