Full Stack Engineer (UK)

About this role

Allica Bank seeks a Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver financial technology products using Spring Boot microservices and React, working across both backend and frontend within a modern, fast-growing fintech environment. You'll build secure, scalable banking solutions on Azure while contributing to engineering excellence, observability, and operational reliability.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Spring Boot microservices in Kotlin/Java, deployed as containerised applications on Azure Container Apps with REST/OpenAPI APIs
• Develop React/TypeScript frontend applications using shared design system components, deployed on Azure Static Web Apps
• Participate in technical design discussions and author Architecture Decision Records documenting decisions and trade-offs
• Support production services by defining SLOs, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and improving reliability
• Apply secure coding standards, threat modelling, regulatory compliance, and accessibility requirements in all deliverables
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, test strategies, and developer experience in alignment with cloud deployment patterns
