Graduate AI Engineer

About this role

Allica Bank seeks a recent graduate to join its AI engineering team in Milton Keynes, developing intelligent lending solutions using generative AI and machine learning. You'll work across the full product lifecycle—from prototyping to production—collaborating with experienced engineers and product teams to build impactful AI applications.

What you'll do

• Build AI-powered applications using LLMs and modern frameworks
• Develop RAG solutions with vector databases, embeddings, and document retrieval
• Create backend services and APIs supporting AI applications
• Experiment with prompt engineering, agents, and emerging AI capabilities
• Rapidly prototype ideas and iterate based on user feedback
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code in collaboration with teams
