Chemical Materials & Technology Engineer

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Chemical Materials & Technology Engineer to support R&D and quality control operations. You'll perform analytical testing, develop validated methods, and collaborate across teams to advance product development while maintaining regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation (ICP-OES, FTIR, TGA, GC/HPLC) and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for product testing and quality assurance
• Design and execute experiments using spectroscopy, chromatography, and wet chemistry techniques
• Perform quality control testing to ensure products meet regulatory and internal specifications
• Manage laboratory data in LIMS systems with full traceability and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with manufacturing and product development teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
