EE Architecture - Domain Engineer

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an experienced EE Architecture Domain Engineer to design and optimize electrical architecture solutions for automotive subsystems like ADAS, infotainment, and chassis. This role involves defining architecture strategies, managing design portfolios, ensuring interface standardization, and collaborating with subsystem teams to meet performance, safety, and cybersecurity requirements.

What you'll do

• Define overall architecture strategy and portfolio of solutions for assigned domain/subsystem
• Create mechanizations, schematics, topology, and functional diagrams showing system interactions and data exchange
• Review and resolve change requests impacting domain architecture across all vehicle archetypes
• Develop long-term technology roadmaps and drive interface standardization across the domain
• Oversee functional system design, network design, and diagnostics following allocation decisions
• Collaborate with hardware teams to define microcontroller, memory, and communication chipset requirements

• Vehicle electrical architecture and automotive development processes
• Complex embedded networked systems design and topology definition
• Physical and functional partitioning with cybersecurity and functional safety expertise
• Systems thinking and cross-functional collaboration
• Automotive domain knowledge (ADAS, infotainment, chassis, powertrain, etc.)
• AUTOSAR and automotive engineering tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, PREEvision)
