Embedded Software Engineer

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop controls software for automated commercial equipment. You'll work with international engineering teams designing and implementing real-time embedded systems, interfacing with hardware components, and creating technical documentation.

What you'll do

• Design and develop controls software for automated commercial equipment
• Collaborate with international software, mechanical, electrical, and design engineers
• Analyze user requirements and develop software test procedures
• Architect and expand codebase for multi-functional hardware systems
• Create technical specifications and user-facing documentation
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed systems
