Mechanical Engineer II

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Mechanical Engineer II in Twinsburg, Ohio to design and develop mechanical components for power conversion systems and electronic products throughout their lifecycle. You'll create CAD models, conduct design reviews, and support manufacturing and testing while collaborating across engineering teams on advanced electronics applications.

What you'll do

• Design mechanical enclosures, mounting systems, and structural components meeting customer specifications and manufacturing requirements
• Create 3D CAD models and production drawings with proper GD&T, tolerance analysis, and dimensional control
• Participate in design reviews and cross-functional meetings to optimize performance, manufacturability, and reliability
• Support product verification, prototype evaluation, and engineering testing activities
• Investigate technical challenges and recommend practical solutions for existing and new products
• Provide project updates to leadership, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
