ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Stress Analysis Engineer in Chula Vista, CA to perform structural analysis on aircraft components including composites, metals, and aerostructures using FEA and classical methods. The role involves design trades, fatigue/vibration analysis, and generating certification documentation for major aerospace clients like Boeing and Airbus.

What you'll do

• Conduct structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems for design studies
• Develop finite element models, loads, and perform static, fatigue, and vibration analyses
• Evaluate structural integrity using classical hand analysis and FEA methods
• Generate technical documentation and reports for airworthiness certification
• Solve complex structural problems through research and collaboration with subject matter experts
• Support equipment engineering systems by evaluating technical needs and developing solutions
