Test Support Engineer

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Test Support Engineer to troubleshoot and debug hardware and software issues across manufacturing and service lines for automotive components and systems. You'll work independently on component and system-level testing while collaborating cross-functionally to resolve production issues and implement continuous improvements.

What you'll do

• Triage and debug test failures on manufacturing lines using scripting, automotive tools, networking, and Linux expertise
• Investigate line-down situations and develop long-term improvement plans
• Collaborate across test, manufacturing, IT, and product teams to root cause issues
• Support rollout of new test solutions to manufacturing and service locations
• Execute test experiments, gauge R&R studies, and validate test changes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for test deployment, runtime, and yield optimization
