Sales Engineer

About this role

Altruist, an AI-powered wealth management platform, seeks a Solutions Engineer in Los Angeles to serve as a technical expert guiding RIAs through evaluation, adoption, and expansion of the platform. You'll blend deep product knowledge with consultative problem-solving to design technology solutions, lead implementations, and ensure smooth migrations for wealth management firms.

What you'll do

• Support high-value RIA sales opportunities across the full sales cycle with technical expertise and consultative guidance
• Conduct discovery sessions with RIA stakeholders to understand business models, workflows, and operational pain points
• Design target-state technology architectures centered on Altruist integrated with third-party systems like CRMs and portfolio accounting tools
• Deliver customized product demos and presentations addressing real RIA operational challenges like trading, billing, and digital onboarding
• Lead implementations, integrations, and advisor enablement to ensure efficient transitions and adoption
• Capture and communicate advisor feedback to internal teams to inform product development
