Dev Ops Engineer

About this role

Alva, an advanced energy systems company, seeks a DevOps Engineer to establish and manage internal infrastructure, cybersecurity programs, and software reliability practices. You'll oversee security policies, data protection, server management, and work with engineers to improve code quality and deployment pipelines.

What you'll do

• Build and manage cybersecurity program including policies, controls, monitoring, and employee security practices
• Implement data loss prevention measures and manage identity/access controls across systems
• Administer internal server infrastructure, backups, recovery, and secure network access tools
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, code review standards, and automated testing frameworks
• Investigate software failures, implement corrective actions, and improve incident response procedures
• Evaluate and deploy tools for secure development, monitoring, and systems administration
