About this role
AMAROK seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to lead solution design and customer consultations for perimeter security systems across commercial and industrial clients. This role bridges sales and engineering, translating customer needs into scalable technical proposals while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure feasible implementations.
What you'll do
- Develop technical solution designs, product recommendations, and pricing proposals with Account Executives and channel partners
- Conduct technical consultations, product demonstrations, and customer discovery discussions
- Analyze customer environments to create precise system designs, layouts, and documentation
- Prepare technical specifications, SOWs, RFPs, and implementation documentation
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure solution feasibility and compliance
- Support site assessments, proof-of-concept activities, and initial implementation planning
What they're looking for
- Sales engineering or technical sales experience (3+ years)
- Video surveillance, access control, gate operators, and physical security knowledge
- Technical presentation and communication with diverse audiences
- Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Visio proficiency
- Project management and multitasking under tight deadlines
- Product and technical knowledge authority
