Amca is seeking a Junior Propulsion Component Engineer to contribute to the design and development of critical propulsion hardware. This entry-level role provides opportunities for growth and mentorship while supporting the design of valves, actuators, and related components. The ideal candidate will leverage CAD skills and a foundational understanding of fluid dynamics to support senior engineers in creating innovative solutions.
What you'll do
- Support the design of propulsion components and assemblies.
- Create CAD models and detailed drawings with GD&T.
- Perform hand calculations for fluid dynamics and pressure drop.
- Assist with analytical studies and reduce results into design guidance.
- Draft portions of technical documentation.
- Collaborate with test and manufacturing teams.
