Software Test Engineer

About this role

AIR seeks an experienced Software Test Engineer to lead testing strategy and execution for ERP system modernization initiatives. The role involves planning test cycles, managing test resources, and ensuring release readiness through comprehensive testing approaches, with hybrid flexibility requiring three days weekly in the Virginia office.

What you'll do

• Deploy and maintain test automation tools and CI/CD pipeline integration
• Create and execute master test plans with entry/exit criteria and release checkpoints
• Build automated test scripts for unit, system, regression, and performance testing
• Lead cross-team testing efforts including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Manage defect triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking
• Document test procedures, results, and produce comprehensive test reports
