About this role
Ampersand seeks a Customer Engineer to be the technical bridge between clients and the product team, handling implementations, troubleshooting, and surfacing feedback on their AI integration platform. You'll own the full customer lifecycle—from onboarding through ongoing support—while building tools and advocating for product improvements based on real-world usage patterns.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support to engineering teams via Slack and video calls, troubleshooting integration issues
- Lead customer onboarding from setup through working implementation
- Escalate complex issues to the core engineering team with full context and drive resolution
- Identify and communicate product gaps, bugs, and feature requests from customer interactions
- Debug code and logs to solve problems deeply before escalating
- Build automations and tools to accelerate troubleshooting and reduce resolution time
