Product Engineer, Frontend

About this role

Ampersand seeks a Product Engineer to shape the frontend experience of their AI integration platform. You'll own the dashboard, UI component library, and customer-facing features while working closely with founders and customers to establish design standards for a developer-focused product.

What you'll do

• Design and develop the integration dashboard—a command center for engineers, PMs, and customer teams to manage integrations
• Build and maintain the embeddable React UI library that customers integrate into their own applications
• Conduct user testing and gather customer feedback to inform product direction
• Own full-stack feature development from design through implementation and customer communication
• Optimize frontend performance for data-intensive dashboards
• Rapidly prototype UI ideas using AI tools with creative freedom

What they're looking for

• React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Full-stack development with willingness to work in backend languages like Go
• B2B SaaS or developer tools product experience
• Strong product intuition and customer empathy
• UI/UX design sensibility and great taste
• Communication and technical documentation
• AI tool proficiency and AI-forward thinking
• 4+ years building digital products
