2026 Early Career Electrical Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks early-career electrical engineers to design and develop advanced defense technology systems. You'll work on electronics from concept through prototype, integrating hardware and firmware while collaborating across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Design electronics including hardware selection, PCB layout, and system-level integration
• Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software domains using lab equipment and debugging tools
• Develop firmware and software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers on product delivery
• Support multiple concurrent projects at various development stages
• Manage deployments and customer-operated hardware in high-velocity settings

What they're looking for

• PCB design and Altium Designer
• Embedded Linux development and device drivers
• C/C++ and Python programming
• Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and test automation
• Standard interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe)
• Git, GitHub, and JIRA version control
• Microcontroller firmware development
• Problem-solving across hardware-software boundaries
