About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Aerodynamics Engineer to lead the design and analysis of advanced unmanned air vehicles and missile systems for military applications. You'll own the complete development lifecycle from concept through flight testing, applying cutting-edge aerodynamic methods to create high-performance systems for contested environments.
What you'll do
- Design unmanned air vehicles and missiles at conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases
- Conduct aerodynamic analysis using low and high-order methods, including CFD
- Perform stability, control, and aircraft performance modeling and simulation
- Generate aerodynamic loads and coordinate wind tunnel and flight testing programs
- Develop and improve internal analysis tools
- Prepare technical documentation including specifications and test reports

- Aircraft performance prediction and modeling
- MATLAB or Python programming
- Wind tunnel and flight test execution and data analysis
