Costa Mesa, California, United StatesFrom $292kmidAdded today

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Agentic AI Engineer to automate engineering workflows and build AI agent systems that accelerate aerospace design and testing cycles. You'll develop end-to-end agent pipelines that integrate legacy engineering tools, chain multi-fidelity simulations, and create new capabilities to support autonomous vehicle development.

What you'll do

  • Design and deploy agentic AI systems to automate engineering workflows across design, analysis, test, and program execution
  • Integrate and orchestrate legacy engineering software tools through programmatic control and API layers
  • Build evaluation harnesses and guardrails for agent pipelines to ensure safety and reliability
  • Chain tools of varying fidelity—from empirical methods to high-fidelity solvers—into automated analysis flows
  • Own end-to-end agent systems including orchestration logic, tool integrations, and data pipelines
  • Develop new tools and capabilities using agents to meet program timelines rather than waiting for software releases

What they're looking for

  • Agentic AI and multi-agent systems design
  • Python and software engineering fundamentals
  • API design and tool integration patterns
  • LLM orchestration and prompt engineering
  • System design and workflow automation
  • Data pipeline and integration experience
  • Debugging and evaluation of autonomous systems
  • Problem-solving from first engineering principles
