About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Hardware Verification & Validation Systems Engineer to lead qualification testing and verification activities for Group 5 autonomous aircraft throughout the product lifecycle. The role involves planning and executing environmental and compliance testing, managing requirements traceability, and ensuring hardware meets system-level requirements before fielding.

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute hardware verification activities including design verification testing (DVT), environmental qualification, and production acceptance testing
  • Develop verification cross-reference matrices (VCRMs), test plans, and evidence packages aligned with the Systems Engineering Management Plan
  • Manage requirements traceability from system-level requirements through component-level verification evidence
  • Conduct or witness environmental testing at qualification labs (vibration, thermal, altitude, EMI/EMC, etc.) per MIL-STD specifications
  • Evaluate qualification test reports, certificates of conformance, and supplier technical data for compliance
  • Apply Qualification by Similarity (QBS) methodology to assess COTS/MOTS hardware and identify verification gaps
