Chief Engineer, Fury Development

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the Fury unmanned aerial system program as its principal technical authority. You'll oversee the complete lifecycle from design through production and operational deployment, guiding multi-disciplinary teams while driving innovation in advanced airpower technology.

What you'll do

• Provide technical and programmatic leadership for air vehicle and mission systems from design through deployment
• Lead strategic design trades and conceptual exploration with SMEs and business development teams
• Drive detailed system and subsystem design while managing requirements, trades, and risk mitigation
• Guide teams in achieving airworthiness certifications and maintaining safety and reliability standards
• Oversee fabrication of prototypes and low-rate production articles with comprehensive testing
• Support remote operational deployment and gather feedback for real-world integration

• Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) expertise at Group 3 classification and above
• Senior leadership and program management experience
