About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to join their in-house prototype manufacturing team in Costa Mesa, CA. You'll own end-to-end machining projects, programming 5-axis CNC machines and managing setups for mission-critical defense technology prototypes.
What you'll do
- Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC milling and turning machines
- Interpret technical blueprints and CAD models for manufacturing
- Design and implement work-holding and fixture solutions
- Troubleshoot and adjust processes during production
- Perform quality control checks throughout manufacturing
- Take full ownership of projects from concept through completion
What they're looking for
- CAM software (Esprit, hyperMill)
- G-code and M-code programming
- 5-axis and multi-axis machining
- CNC machine controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Brother)
- GD&T and geometric dimensioning
- Fixture and tooling design
- Material knowledge (alloys, metals, plastics)
- Blueprint and CAD interpretation
