Data Platform Engineer, Air Dominance & Strike

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to architect and operate scalable data infrastructure for their Air Dominance & Strike division. You'll design cloud-based platforms supporting analytics, flight test, production, and field operations across commercial and classified environments, while applying SRE principles and collaborating with engineers to remove friction.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain scalable, self-service data platform serving analytics and applications across the organization
• Architect cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices to support data operations
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines in Python with modern orchestrators to process data at scale
• Implement solutions for multi-server data access in disconnected and intermittently-connected environments
• Deploy ML-ready feature sets and validated models into production with strong data quality controls
• Apply SRE principles to ensure high availability, performance, and observability with established SLOs
