Development Test Engineer, Maritime

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Development Test Engineer to manage and execute comprehensive testing campaigns on autonomous maritime systems and hardware in Quincy, MA. You'll oversee test equipment setup, perform structural and environmental testing on AUVs and components, and automate test operations while collaborating with design teams to resolve issues.

What you'll do

• Procure, integrate, and document test equipment for various maritime and structural applications
• Execute and manage structural, dynamic, and environmental testing on autonomous underwater vehicles and subsystems
• Lead full test campaigns including planning, activation, operations, data analysis, and custom equipment fabrication
• Create work instructions for technicians on test article and equipment fabrication and assembly
• Operate and troubleshoot data acquisition systems, thermal chambers, shakers, and fluid power equipment
• Automate repetitive test operations to enhance efficiency and safety
