Development Test Engineer, Space Vehicle

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Development Test Engineer to lead hardware testing campaigns for spaceflight systems in Costa Mesa, CA. You'll design and execute structural, dynamic, and environmental tests on advanced space vehicles while managing test procedures, automating operations, and collaborating with design teams to resolve anomalies.

What you'll do

• Execute structural, dynamic, and environmental testing on spaceflight hardware
• Lead test campaigns including plan creation, system activation, operations, and data analysis
• Generate work instructions for technicians on test article fabrication and integration
• Operate and troubleshoot data acquisition systems, thermal chambers, and vibration shakers
• Automate repetitive test operations to improve efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with design engineers to diagnose and resolve system issues
