Electrical Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop embedded electronics for advanced defense technology systems. You'll lead hardware design from concept through production, collaborate across firmware and mechanical teams, and support both active deployments and new product development in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Design embedded electronics including hardware selection, schematics, PCB layout, board bring-up, and system integration
• Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues using lab equipment and debugging tools
• Select and configure microprocessors, microcontrollers, and modern SoCs for defense platforms
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical engineers to deliver functional products
• Manage multiple concurrent projects at various development stages
• Support active deployments and customer-operated hardware in demanding environments

What they're looking for

• Multi-gigabit SERDES and high-speed board design
• DDR memory buses, Ethernet MAC/PHY interfaces, FPGAs
• SPI, I2C, and embedded communication protocols
• Altium Designer or equivalent EDA tools
• Test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers)
• Embedded Linux development and bootloaders
• Python for test automation
• Microprocessor/microcontroller interfacing
