Electrical Engineer - Maritime

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and integrate electrical subsystems for the Copperhead family of autonomous maritime vehicles. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop support systems for service, deployment, and operations in demanding maritime environments.

What you'll do

• Design electrical schematics, power diagrams, and wire harnesses connecting subsystems
• Integrate existing electrical subsystems while maintaining commonality across maritime platforms
• Design electrical interfaces and enclosures for sensors and autonomous system equipment
• Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software boundaries using test equipment
• Conduct design reviews and requirements analysis to ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers on product delivery

• PCB design and schematic design (Altium, Eagle)
• Analog and digital electronics
• Network protocols (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, USB, MODBUS, ProfiNet)
• Test equipment operation (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer)

• Electro-mechanical design concepts
