Electrical Engineer - Test Design

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and deliver comprehensive test systems for defense technology products including autonomous aerial and ground vehicles. You'll lead end-of-line test planning, develop test automation hardware, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product quality and reliability from prototype through manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Lead end-of-line test plan definition for new products in collaboration with firmware, software, and hardware teams
• Design test automation hardware systems and develop test procedures from component to system level
• Execute purchasing, build, integration, and commissioning of functional testers
• Perform data analysis and communicate results to resolve product issues discovered during testing
• Support board bring-up, design for testability feedback, and manufacturing yield optimization
• Participate in design reviews and support test strategy optimization for safety and reliability

What they're looking for

• Functional test equipment design (5+ years)
• Schematic capture and PCBA layout (Altium Designer preferred)
• Test automation scripting (C/C++/C#, Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW)
• Communication bus protocols (USB, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, serial)
• Measurement analysis (Gage R&R, Process Capability Analysis)
• Hardware and software integration and testing
• RF test equipment and RF component testing (preferred)
• Source code version control and GitHub
